Save the Children Muddy Puddle at Kingsbury Mandir

On Saturday 20th March 2017, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Kingsbury set up a fantastic Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk in nearby Silver Jubilee Park to raise vital funds for Save the Children.

Over one hundred little Muddy Puddlers took part in the event and helped to raise over £2,000 with more sponsorship continuing to flood in.

For many of the participants, this was their first ever charity event and it was great to see friends and neighbours of the Mandir coming together in this unique way to give selflessly.

This was the first in a series of charity events that Shree Swaminarayan Mandir is organising and taking part in as part of its campaign, which forms part of our Sadbhav Amrut Parvafestival in celebration of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s 75th year.

We hope that this event will make lifetime charity campaigners and supporters out of all those that took part and that the money raised will help to change the lives of children both here in the UK and abroad.

You can all help to encourage these fledgling “chariteers” by recognising their efforts and continuing to donate to Save the Children at
