Synopsis
Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa established a new Mandir of the divine Karan Satsang in the village of Naranpar, Kutch in Samvat 2013, Vaishakh Sud 3. Sixty years have passed since the Mandir was established. In celebration, with the inspiration of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, and as a facet of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj Sadbhav Amrut Parva, a 5 day, auspicious festival is being celebrated, held from Tuesday 25 April to Saturday 29 April 2017.
Immediately after the mangla aarti, disciples performed mahapooja to commence the scripture recitals of Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato. Once this had concluded, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj presided on a chariot and was led from the Mandir to the assembly marque. This procession was led by Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band Maninagar.
As it was Chaitra Vad 30, Shree Sadguru Din, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, Sants and disciples performed 30 minutes of dhyan, and this was followed by divine blessings from Jeevanpran Swamibapa, who explained that dhyan is the mode for experiencing 1:1 divine pleasure with God. Swamibapa explained that whilst this is not an easy process, with daily and committed perseverance in accordance with the ways of dhyan that the merciful Lord Shree Swaminarayan and Bapashree have prescribed, this ultimate state can be achieved by the grace of God.
During Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s divine blessings, He explained the significance of Shree Sadguru Din to progress spiritually in life. He explained the importance of dhyan to attain the supreme Lord and experience His divine bliss. ‘It is not a skill or subject that can be taught in a few days, or by taking a short course at college. This is a difficult journey that takes years to achieve, and the teachings from a true Satpurush who has already mastered that ultimate status. Some subjects are not taught, but are inherent due to the nature of a person. The urge to perform committed dhyan and worship the Lord to truly experience His ecstasy must be cultivated from within you – someone else will not be able to persuade you to do this. For that to arise within your mind and soul, you need to realise the greatness of the supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan, understand His glory and appreciate the divine bliss that can be attained from Him.’After Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s divine blessings, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band Maninagar led the guests of honour to the stage. Chief guest was Major General Dr Subhash Sharan. He was blessed by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj with a paag and memento. In his speech, he commended Acharya Swamishree Maharaj for all His unsurpassed charitable work for humanity around the world. At the end of the assembly, everyone stood and saluted Mother India, as Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band Maninagar performed the Rashtria Geet – National Anthem.
