Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band first played in London during the visit of Swamibapa in February 1974. With great enthusiasm the band performed in front of Swamibapa in Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Hendon. By this time the band had gained experience and had increased its musical repertoire.
Over the years Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band has performed at many events and parades throughout England and around the world, including the Lord Mayor of London and Paris's New Year Parades. Charity events held throughout Europe have benefited from the presence of the band. The band has forged a close relationship with the organisation, Youth Music of the World, which organises and arranges performances worldwide including the New Year's Day parades in UK, France, Holland, and USA.
Performances have been given at the world famous Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Conference Centre, live on BBC television and in front of the Queen on her Golden Jubilee Celebrations. Indeed, the band has won prizes at these events and is proud to have been given the acclaim of "a civilian band with military standards", in discipline, quality of its music, and its general showmanship by leading world music judges and experts.
On the 1st October 2003, in Delhi, India HDH Acharya Swamishree and Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band played at the India Gate Monument to Honour the Brave Soldiers who had died during World War II. The Band saluted the brave soldiers by playing India's National Anthem.
