Sahajanand Special School in Mombasa for kids in need

Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Community (SKLPC) WA Samaj in Perth organised the funding, through donations, to transport a 40ft container holding 340 wheelchair to Sahajanand Special School in Mombasa for kids in need. World Health Organization (WHO) accredited chairs are made locally in Perth by “Wheelchair for kids” a volunteer-based not-for-profit organisation providing the transformative gift of mobility to children in impoverished and under resourced communities both in Australia and around the globe. Devotees in Perth raised $1751 in donations for this project and funds were transferred to SKLPC WA on 14 March 2021
 

SEWA International Australia - India needs You

As soon as devotees in Perth heard about the second wave of the Covid pandemic in India and the worsening situation they looked at ways of supporting initiatives to provide aid to India. Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Community (WA) Samaj spread news on COVID 19 offer to help India and identified that SEWA International Australia was raising funds for its Appeal to help India in Covid-19. The mandir in Perth reached out to haribhaktos around Australia and raised $2010.00 in a short time that has been transferred to SEWA International Australia on 3 May 2021 for its Covid 19 appeal for India.
 

Interfaith Tour

On Saturday 29 May 2021, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Embleton – Perth will welcome the Interfaith Tour arranged by the City of Stirling.
 
Members of the community will embark on a cultural experience, to build awareness of diverse faiths within the City of Stirling and neighbouring areas. On the tour, those registered for the event will visit a Buddhist Temple, Hindu temple and a local Mosque.
