Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey held its annual Medical Camp on Saturday, October 11th, 2008. Community doctors, nurses, and temple disciples worked together to provide other disciples and community members with free physical, dental, vision, and EKG checkups as well as blood work at no cost. The doctors, nurses, and temples who had volunteered their services and time for this event served over 250 patients during the day.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
