With the divine grace of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, the disciples of Florida, USA have been able to acquire land on which a new temple of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan will be constructed. On Saturday, July 18, 2009, the mandal of six eminent sants currently touring the USA and the disciples of Florida visited the site and held an assembly there. At the location, the sants and disiples performed maha pooja. In addition, the area was consecrated and blessed by the grace of Harikrushna Maharaj.
After the maha pooja, the mandal of sants and disciples headed over to a community hall where another assembly was held. Sants performed kirtan-bhakti, katha was held, and disciples gave speeches about the glory of the Lord. Disciples then performed aarti, and maha prasad was served to all.
The temple site is located in Ocala, Florida on 2030 N 36th Ave, and is approximately 4.75 Acres. Ocala, Florida is about one hour away from the city of Orlando and 4 hours away from the city of Miami.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
