On Tuesday, November 13th, 2007, a group of twenty students and a professor from a theology class at St. Peters College visited Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey for a seminar on Hinduism and the Swaminarayan Faith.

St. Peter's College, founded in 1872 as a liberal arts college, is one of the 28 Jesuit Catholic colleges in the United States. The institution seeks to prepare its students for a lifetime of learning, service, and leadership in a diverse global community. This goal requires an understanding of people of all ethnicities and religions. Through the seminar, the students reached more towards this goal, as they learned about the Swaminarayan Faith and Lord Swaminarayan's philosophy with intent interest.

The seminar was a great success. It helped Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey form a closer tie to its surrounding community, and it provided members of the community a better understanding of the Swaminarayan Faith.
