Shree Swaminarayan Temple Los Angeles celebrated Makar Sankranti Utsav on 9th January 2016. Devotees from Shree Swaminarayan Siddhant Sajivan Mandal West Coast gathered at the Temple to celebrate this festival. Vachnamrut & Kirtan recital was performed by all devotees. Temple hall and Sinhasan was decorated with Kites of various colors and designs. Celebration concluded with disciples receiving Prasad.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
