On 10 June 2009, Acharya Swamishree travelled to Bhuj in order to perform the inauguration of a new hostel building associated with the renowned Shree Muktajeevan Arts and Commerce College for Ladies.

Various local dignitaries were present on this occasion to gain the blessings of Acharya Swamishree. They included Kutch Councillor Shree Pushpadan Gadhvi, Kutchi Leva Patel Education and Medical Trust Managing Chairman Shree R R Patel.

The guests expressed their delight that Acharya Swamishree was performing such a noble act of selfless charity by establishing this college and furthermore, providing the amenities required for the young students.

Until 2006, when the College was opened, the district of Kutch has lacked further education for women. Consequently, parents were curtailing the education of their daughters; they did not feel comfortable about letting the young ladies go far away to attend colleges in the major cities. Acknowledging this need, Acharya Swamishree inspired Shree Muktajeevan Arts and Commerce College, dedicated to the further education of women, and provide them with opportunities to progress. Initially, a dedicated bus service ran from surrounding villages allowing the young students to reach the college safely each morning and return home each evening. Now that the new hostel has been built, the ladies will be able to remain in Bhuj and focuss more on their studies.

By the divine mercy and grace of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and Acharya Swamishree, the college has attained a reputation in the region of being one of the best.
