His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree fulfilled the wishes of the disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi residing in the UK, and arrived at Heathrow Airport at 1:45 pm on Sunday the 12th February 2006. Acharya Swamishree and his sant Mandal was greeted by devotees at the airport before being driven to Shree Swaminarayan Temple, London.

Acharya Swamishree arrived at the Temple at approximately 3.30 pm, where the congregation had gathered for Bapa's divine darshan. As Acharya Swamishree entered the temple, he instantly filled the hearts of his devotees with joy. Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band eagerly awaited to salute Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, and Acharya Swamishree and performed as His Holiness was carried in an ornately decorated palanquin through the Mandir.

Acharya Swamishree then performed aarti to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and cut the welcoming cake. Thereafter Acharya Swamishree gave his divine arshiwad before granting the gathered devotees His divine darshan. Despite concluding such a long journey, Acharya Swamishree greeted, and granted His darshan, to each and every devotee – such is the unparalleled benevolence of His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree.

His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree will only remain in the UK for two weeks, returning to India on Sunday the 26th February. During this time he will also give darshan to his devotees in other towns and cities around the UK, despite the short time of the visit.
