Comical interludes were given by Shri Prakashbhai Gajjar. To end the evening, a group of African dancers gave a traditional Goma tribal performance, which delighted the audience.

The second day, Monday 7th March, was Shree Sadguru Din. This was the day that Jeevanpran Swamibapa entrusted Acharya Swamishree to be His heir and sovereign of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi. This important historical even took place exactly 32 years ago, in 1979. In recognition of Acharya Swamishree 32 years as spiritual leader of the Faith, all the sants and disciples performed adoration to Him.

The final day of the festival, Falgun Sud 3, Tuesday 8th March, marked the 67th anniversary of the supreme Lord’s arrival in Maninagar Mandir. Acharya Swamishree performed the patotsav ceremony of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Harikrishna Maharaj, Shree Sahajanand Swami Maharaj, Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree and Jeevanpran Swamibapa. The Lord was ceremonially bathed in the five nectars. The temple was brimming with sants and disciples who were all eager to catch a glimpse of the Lord’s darshan. Special provisions had also been made in the grounds of the temple so that the same darshan could be seen on large screens.

During today’s assembly, the chief guest was eminent television serial director, Shree Moti Sagar, who is currently working on our Organisation’s dramatisation of the supremacy of the Lord, Sarvavatari Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan.
