After celebrating the Fooldolotsav festival in Vrushpur, Acharya Swamishree travelled to Mount Abu to perform the annual Patotsav ceremony at Shree Swaminarayan Temple Abu.
After celebrating the Fooldolotsav festival in Vrushpur, Acharya Swamishree travelled to Mount Abu to perform the annual Patotsav ceremony at Shree Swaminarayan Temple Abu.
Acharya Swamishree stayed in Abu for five days. He performed the Patotsav ceremony at Shree Swmainarayan Temple Mount Abu on 30th March 2005, and then travelled to Swaminarayan Pali, where a procession was held to welcome Him to the village. A recital of the scripture, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi was held as part of the Patotsav celebrations. An evening of devotional dance and music was held on 31st March 2005 and after performing the Patotsav ceremony on 1st April 2005, Acharya Swamishree granted the devotees of Swaminarayan Pali the rare opportunity of celebrating Rangutsav, during which Acharya Swamishree showered everyone with prasadi colour.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
