In May 2017, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bharasar will have completed 50 years since its establishment. This golden jubilee will be celebrated with a 5 day festival. In preparation, both the men's and women's Mandirs are being re-built. The old Mandir buildings have been demolished and plans have now been made for the new structures.
During the morning of Monday 9 November 2015, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the ground breaking ceremony of the two new Mandirs, and laid the foundation stones.
Sants and disciples performed poojan to the bricks, before they were placed into the ground together with the ceremonial urn, containing panchamrut - prepared by bathing Shree Harikrishna Maharaj with the five nectars, gold and silver. A slab inscribed with the details of the ceremony, was placed on top of the foundation.
After the ceremony, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj showered Diwali and New Year’s blessings to the disciples of the Kutch region, before returning to Maninagardham.
