After celebrating Fuldolotsav in Madhapar, Kutch, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj travelled the long distance to Mount Abu. It was Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa’s wish that the divind Murti of Lord Shree Swaminarayan should preside at the topmost position possible in Mount Abu. Fulfilling Swamibapa’s wish, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj built Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Mount Abu at the peak of a hill; the shrine is situated at the top, whilst all the temple buildings are below. The temple was opening in 1991.

Acharya Swamishree Maharaj reached Mount Abu during the late night of Monday 17 March 2014. On Wednesday 19 March, He accepted the wishes of the Sants and disciples and toured Abu’s famous Nakki Lake. There is a legend that this lake was dug by the deities using their nails – Nakh – and so it is considered to be sacred. It is India’s highest artificial lake, at a height of 1200 metres above sea level.

On Friday 21 March, Acharya Swamishree performed the patotsav ceremony of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa who presides in Mount Abu. After giving His divine blessings to the congregation, Acharya Swamishree travelled to Swaminarayan Palli in the Panchmahal region.
