Based in the city of Vadodara, the Shrimant Siddhi Vinayaka Public Charitable Trust performs considerable social work for the people of the region, including giving food and clothing donations to the poor, providing medical aid, organising blood donation camps, and running fully equipped ambulances.

On Friday 6 April 2012, the Trust held a special program in honour of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj in Vadodara. This coincided with the 150th birthday celebrations the Vadodara's eminent king, Shree Sayajirao Gaekvad III, and Hanuman Jayanti.

On behalf of the organisation, the eminent preacher of the Sundarkand chapter of the Ramayan scripture, Shree Ashwinkumar Pathak, welcomed Acharya Swamishree Maharaj. Amongst an assembly of over 7 thousand people, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj inaugurated a new edition of the Sundarkand, Shree Ramcharitra Manas. A momento of the occasion, depicting Vadodara's Raj Mahel (royal palaces) was presented to Acharya Swamishree Maharaj on behalf of the Shrimant Siddhi Vinayaka Public Charitable Trust.

On behalf of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj presented Shree Ashwinkumar Pathak with a splendid oil painting of Shree Ram-Laxman and Sitaji. He was also given a model of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir.

In His divine blessings, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj talked about the Sundarkand and the teachings that should be learnt and imbibed into our own lives from the absolute devotion, and sincere humbleness, shown by Shree Hanumanji towards Shree Ramchandraji. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj encouraged the Organisation to continue its good work for the benefit of society, and together with all the people of Vadodara, prayed to the almighty Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, for the eternal peace of humanity.
