  • What is considered as the true faith, dharma? It has been explained by Lord Swaminarayan, that true dharma is the faith that is conducted in accordance with the Vedas. Whoever protects and acts in accordance to these rules of conducts can be considered to be a child of God, or a religious person.

  • Whoever acts morally, has a belief in the existence of God, and has a compassionate heart are all considered to be children of the Lord. The Lord does not distinguish between social, class or gender. Whoever worships Him is considered to be His.

  • Lord Swaminarayan's manifestion upon this Earth was to unburden the many oppressed lost souls, and to grant them eternal salvation.

  • A child of God will not steal, will never kill a living thing, and will not consume meat or alcohol etc. They will never behave in the interest of their own self, but will always put others before themselves.

  • Our beloved Jeevanpran Swamibapa has said, that man can get ahead in all aspects of life by working in unity. We are all aware that we can only get ahead in life if we co-operate and work together as one.

  • The prosperity or destruction of the city of Ahemdabad is in our hands. We are children of India; who is a true Indian? Swamibapa has explained that a true Indian is one who feeds the hungry, clothes those who need clothing, prays for the ill etc. A true Indian is also one who stops an alcoholic from drinking alcohol, stops a gambler from gambling, etc. The truth and honour of our country is in our faith

  • During our gathering today, we have inaugurated literature. Let us all vow that we will only publish literature/books that teach good moral conduct.

  • Let us all pray together as the beloved children of the Lord, that we all work together to make the city of Ahemdabad prosper. If we think of the Lord in all of our actions, then he will surely guide us and fulfil this very wish.
