As one gets truly engrossed in the words and teachings from the Vachanamrut, he will realize and appreciate the fact that this scripture was created for the benefit of humans and to make them attain divine happiness.
Not having affection for the Lord without knowing and understanding His greatness as it is, leads to progression of the desires for, worldly affairs and the vengeance and enmity inside them. Due to this such a disciple cannot attain peace and happiness in their life. Therefore, for one to be able to heal his sorrow and misery has to maintain a steady inclination of his chitt towards the Lord. Once this steady inclination is attained a disciple lives a life full of divine bliss.
The Lord says that having devotion together with an understanding of God’s extensive greatness results in the eradication of all flaws. Even if spiritual knowledge, asceticism and religiosity do not exist, they arise as a consequence of this.
Jeevanpran Shree Abjibapa says that by having absolute trust upon the Lord and His Muktas, one is left with nothing else to attain in his life thereafter. One who has such an understanding attains good virtues in this satsang. Having trust and acting as per the Lord’s commands and will is beneficial to a disciple, one who does not have such trust and does not act as per His will is merely just collecting and adding to his sins, and once sins increase, his mind becomes corrupt. A disciple is able to stay with the Lord through having affection for Him.
