Whilst praying, maintain a steady remembrance of the Lord and His ethos and doings, and pray to never have any fallacy or get stupefied on the Lord’s divine and human-like doings.

The mind/intellect is merely an act of delusions and illusions (Maya), one will never realize when Maya makes him fallacious, delusional and worldly. Therefore, as disciples, we have to be careful and not trust and befriend the delusional mind. One should, by maintaining the five vartamans, fix their sensations towards performing devotion and tasks related to the Lord. To have a divine mind one has to have absolute trust upon the Lord.

The Lord is absolutely pleased upon a disciple who takes the Lord’s resolute patronage. To attain the bliss of His Murti, one has to destroy his inner enemies, i.e. lust, anger, greed, etc., and to be able to do this, prayers are a must.

Just as a crying child is attended to immediately, prayers work the same way; praying brings together the Lord and the disciple. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa says that one is able to gain knowledge on Lord Shree Swaminarayan as being his real parents when he understands the Lord’s doings as divine. Such divine intellect is only attained from the Lord. Prayers are the key to endeavor one’s soul and are the route to attain eternal salvation. Gaining competence through praying will lead to attaining the Lord’s divine Murti and one becomes just as lustrous.
