Jeevanpran Bapashree says that this Satsang is divine but one must only identify himself with Lord Shree Swaminarayan and with the heirs of the keys to eternal salvation (atyaantik kalyan) only. To be a rightful and good person, one should keep distant from people who are not sacred, ones mind becomes corrupt through associating with them.

When one is at their deathbed, he should have a steady inclination towards the Lord and have a continuous remembrance of Him. To be virtuous, to affiliate with virtuous people and to reject bad company is all in your hands, so as to be able to avoid corrupting your mind and falling off the path of salvation. To become the Lord’s child one must detach from bad company and follow His path.

A sant and a virtuous person’s nature is always kind. One can get associated with an inanimate object by merely just keeping it with them, which means in this era of the Kalyuga, an innovated or created object makes one attached and bound to them. Making use of these objects positively renews the mind and makes it good, but using them negatively, watching obscene, vulgar pictures and listening to such songs can lead to the destruction and corruption of the ethics and moral of religion; this in turn leads to a loss and end in the affection and union with the Lord. Such obscene and vulgar pictures can cause one to fall from the path for salvation (atyaantik kalyan).

The sixty-eight places of pilgrimage are all at the Lord's divine lotus feet. Understanding the greatness of the Lord whilst staying with Him is very difficult. We have to therefore maintain a steady inclination Towards the Lord.

It is very easy for anyone to associate with worldly objects, therefore to become virtuous, one has to take care to not get affiliated and blinded by such worldly objects. Disciples should maintain patronage at the Lord's lotus feet and at the divine Shree Swaminarayan Gadi, and the Lord will then shower His mercy upon His disciples.

Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa says that a disciple should be careful in that he does not end up affiliating with bad company whilst in religion. A soul's antahkarans change according to the associations and companionship it takes.

One who has a rational and conscience mind has an understanding of how lucky he is to be able to please the Lord having attained this religion. To be able to have a rational mind one has to attach his soul to the Lord, purify the diet of the senses, acting as per the Lord's will and making others act as per His will. Through this the Lord gets pleased unto his disciple. And by acting as per His will one is able to sanctify his soul.
