Lions club is an old established Charitable Trust and helping the needy for the last 103 years. Its headquarters is in USA with 46,000 branches in 190 countries worldwide and 1.7million members.
On 23th January 2019, His Divine Holiness Acharya Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj together with sant mandal and devotees visited Lions Sight First Eye Hospital in Loresho and was warmly welcomed by Chairman Dr Manilal Dodhia, past trustee and board member Ramjibhai Patel and other board members.
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj gave prasad and blessed all the patients at the hospital who were really appreciative of His compassion and mercy towards them.
In the evening, the Chairman and board members came to the temple and gave details of the activities carried out by Lions Club and received the blessings of Lord Swaminarayan.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
