There are two types of Satsang; karya and Karan Satsang; The Lords and His Muktas are the only Karan the rest is all karya.
The darkness in one's life ends Once he attains the true Karan; the Lord and His Muktas.
A true devotee must keep this awareness in his life that the Lord and His Muktos that he has attained are not any ordinary people. We should make sure that we never insult them. Serving our Guru with true love will help us get rid of faults.
One should not have meaningless conversations while around the Lord and His Muktas, at that moment and while praying, meditating, he should maintain sobriety, keep silent and divert his inclination towards the Lord with an understanding of His greatness.
To become a true Ascetic, one should control his speech and avoid meaningless talks in life. Shree Muktjeevan Swamibapa teaches us the characters of an Ascetic as he explains that perseverance is; to perform tasks that assess one's patience, being able to handle tough situations and never being a coward. To be able to concentrate and achieve goals whilst tolerating sufferings is also a kind of perseverance.
To work to gain control over the life, body, senses and the mind is true perseverance. Perseverance is the medium to one attaining control over his speech and mind. Working with diligence is also perseverance. One can perform perseverance by being able to tolerate conflicts and attain the Murti of the Lord. One's body is purified through perseverance.
To be able to move forward in life one has to have control over his speech.
