Acharya Swamishree Maharaj says that by reciting the Janamangal Shlok 10 times daily receives a desirable reward. They get relief from all their difficulties, grief and sorrows.
There are two types of Samadhi;
Samadhi where a blissful state comes about when one becomes free from mental, physical and externally induced suffering.
And Samadhi where one becomes engrossed and merged within the Murti of the Lord.
Whatever we do we have to do it to please the Lord. One can only achieve perseverance if he maintains a steady inclination towards the Lord. Affection for the Lord grows as one starts acting as per the Lord’s wish and commands, and also by diverting our senses towards the Lord.
Each one of us has to investigate on whether we have been acting as per the Lord’s will or not, and once we act as per His will our soul becomes blessed.
One cannot be able to have affection for the Lord if he does not act as per the Lord’s will. With affection follows wisdom and dispassion for the worldly life. The Lord associates with souls with a straightforward nature, and such a soul always has in mind to never go against the will of the Lord.
Despite living a worldly life, one should have steadiness and a constant inclination of the mind towards the Lord. A soul that lives within God and is straightforward, resigned and without any chicanery is what the Lord takes as His own. Such disciples can be able to have affection for the Lord.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa has made so many sacrifices for His disciples to become what they are today; we therefore have to offer our services to Lord Swaminarayabapa Swamibapa and Shree Swaminarayan Gadi with our mind, body and wealth till there is life in this body.
