On the auspicious day of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree Chatti, Acharya Swamishree explained that;
The Lord, by showering his Divine words of nectar upon us, has given us the hope and patronage of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi.
By continuously remembering the Lord’s Divine Words of nectar, by acting as per religious decree and obeying the will of the Lord; one can be freed from the poisonous Maya, attain a state of peace and eternal salvation.
A person tied within the poisonous Maya, jealousy, agony, and distress cannot attain a state of peace in his life. Such a person cannot see a devotee’s happiness. Therefore, to get rid of these poisons and to incinerate the jealousy and agony/sorrows, one simply has to reminisce the Lord’s divine words of nectar.
The scripture, ‘Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Granth’ is a priceless jewel. By simply listening to this scripture, one’s inner-self blossoms with devotion and his heart fills up with fragrances of good virtues. Within this scripture, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa has distinctly explained the glory of Lord Swaminarayan, Jeevanpran Bapashree and the entire lineage.
To Know and understand the divinity of the Lord and the Lord to know us is a rare case but by having faith in His words, by acting as per His will and by having no doubts in His doing is when one is said to have truly known God.
The Lord is indulgent and has integrated hands with us, has maintained a relationship with us but for us to maintain a monolithic relationship with the Lord, we must continuously act as per the Lord’s Commands.
Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami says that, to know whether or not one has achieved a monolithic relationship with the Lord, he must consider Lord Shree Swaminarayan as the doer of all, consider Him as the Sovereign Lord and sees only the truth in all His Words and commands. Such a devotee has no doubts and uses no logics, arguments or sophism against the Lord’s Words and commands. He goes happily wherever commanded by the Lord and continues his devotion/affiliation towards the Lord. To maintain this relationship, one has to always keep in mind never to upset or annoy the Lord in any way.
The Lord is happy if His devotees perform devotion that is loyal, steady, platonic and full of dedication.
Finally Acharya Swamishree concluded with a prathna that, whilst performing devotion to God we do not develop any Ego and Pride, instead always act as per God’s commands and take patronage at the lotus feet of the Lord.
