Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa says that Shree SadguruDin (New Moon) is a day of high significance and importance. Defining Shree SadguruDin, He says, it’s a day of self-realization, and to do this, the best aid is meditation on the Lord. It is through meditation that one realizes how much love they have towards the Lord and how much they have towards worldly objects. With Love, one can maintain continuous chanting and veneration of the Lord and with a divine nature one merges with the Lord’s Murti. To achieve this one must have a divine understanding of the Lord and His Sat-purush. If a person meditates on the Lord, chants and devotes himself with having a divine understanding of the genealogy from the divine abode of the Lord, such a disciple becomes free of worldly ties and attains the fearless state. One cannot have an end to their sorrows and misfortunes in their life if they have worldly thoughts towards the Lord Muktas.
Acharya Swamishree, with reference to Vachanamrut, explained that there is a big difference between the Murti of the Pratyaksh God and other material forms. An ignorant and incredibly foolish person however considers God and the material form to be equal. A person who looks at the material forms, and contemplates about those material forms, has to wander in hell and in the 8,400,000 (8.4 million) species for an infinite number of ages. Someone who performs darshan and contemplates about God’s Murti, becomes free from all bondage of time (kaal), deeds (karma) and Maya; attains the fearless (Abhay) status; and becomes the attendant of God. Our minds should never become satiated by listening to the episodes about God, singing about His Glory, narrating about Him, or meditating on Him.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa through His kirtan explains that, we are very fortunate to have understood the glory of the Lord for which even Brahmaji and Saraswatiji have not completely understood. The Lord with His grace has given us a garden full of His greatness in which we have been able to plant our Antah-karans. In that garden we have to plant a tree of knowledge with all our efforts and love on which we have to tie a swing of happiness and bliss. For one to be able to swing in that swing of happiness we have to tie a thread of love to build an everlasting bond with the Lord. To achieve this happiness we have to tie a thread of love with the lord. We have to make sure to never force our will on that thread of love.
Acharya Swamishree mentioned that true divine bliss is in the Murti of Lord Shree Swaminarayan, once one is able to visualize is own soul for this bliss, it is when one Is able to maintain continuous chanting. There is no one as kind and loving as Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa, He has searched for us and kept us under His patronage. The Lord has a soft heart, by giving us His love and by caressing us He takes away our sorrows and misfortunes. The Lord through Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa gives us His Love and affection. Finally concluded with a prathna,” Oh Lord may you grant us the divine strength, intellect and courage to always maintain the thread of love with the lord whilst making sure to never force our will on that thread of love.”
