Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's Ashirwad - 25th Jan 2017

Acharya Swamishree talking about the Sadbhav Amrut Parva said that there has never been and will never be (Na Bhuto Na Bhavishyati) an event of sort. Acharya Swamishree also mentioned that, by giving us His love and making abundant sacrifices for us, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa has made us walking, rustling on the path of love. Jeevanpran Shree AbjiBapa says that for one to be able to run, rustling on the path of love, they have to let the strengths of mind, intellect, Chitt and heart melt away in the word love.

Lord Shree Swaminarayan is so merciful such that, by simply tying a raw/weak thread of love, he subjugates His disciples towards Himself. The simplest, shortest and best mode of attaining the Lord and His Murti is by expressing love towards Him and His Sat-purush. If one gains affection/love for the Lord, then all His commands are taken as blessings and that’s when it can be said that one has true love for God. The Lord remembers those who remember Him.

Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa has given His disciples Niyams to come for scripture recitals (Katha-Varta) at the temple on a daily basis. For one to truly love God, just as the Lord cannot stay without katha-varta, meditation and chanting; we also must have desire for the same. Whilst performing any task; through their heart, mind and mouth, one must maintain a continuous remembrance along with relentless chanting of the Lord’s name and His Murti. With this one ends up walking the road shown by God and by climbing this road we get closer to God; this is what we call, having absolute affection for the Lord. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa says that by associating with Sants who are deeply devoted to the Lord and by becoming diligently engaged in God’s love, such a person becomes merged in God’s Murti and sees God in all directions. It is said to have truly loved if one maintains such eagerness forever. The addiction of devotion by loving God, after detachment from the worldly affairs, is simply out of this world. After experiencing such divine love of God, one remains with no desire for worldly wealth/fortune.

In a person’s life, love is the light whereas infatuation and worldly desires is darkness. Just as air and life is a requirement for a person to survive, similarly love is also necessary. Worldly love is either lost or brought up through fear and the love that grows through fear is fallacious. If one inflicts fear in their loved ones, they lose the opportunity to gain their love. One becomes merged within the Lord’s Murti by understanding the greatness of the Lord, without which one cannot identify himself and get into deep devotion.

Finally Acharya Swamishree concluded with a prathna, “Oh Lord! May the strengths of our mind, intellect, Chitt and heart be dedicated to God and may we please Him with true devotion as we remain under Your patronage as well as Shree Swaminarayan Gadi’s patronage.”
