Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's Ashirwad - 12th Jan 2017

Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa, by making so many sacrifices for us in this world, is the reason we have religious decree, knowledge, asceticism and devotion in our life. To attain the divine bliss of the Lord’s murti, one must identify himself with the Lord and have intense love for Him, through their mind, speech and deeds; from both within and outside their soul. Performing austerities, renunciations, pilgrimage will not gain us an avowed union with God; it is merely achieved by His grace. Whilst in satsang we should be vigilant in not drifting our minds from the Lord because we should always look to acquire the love of God. Maintaining the love of God and building a rigid relationship with God is very tough and challenging, to do so we must sanctify our diet, thoughts, guise and speech; with which it then becomes possible to conquer the mind, intellect, inclination and ego. The Lord says that by simply conquering the mind, one is able to conquer the rest. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa says, it is close to impossible to conquer and chasten the mind.

By performing devotion that is accompanied with the knowledge of the Lord’s greatness, one is unable to stay a second away from God. To maintain a continuous association with the Lord one must chasten his mind. As explained in the Vachanamrut, the Lord says that only someone who has an understanding about His greatness and conjuncts his gnan-indriyas and mind to perform darshan, touch, listen etc, reaps the complete benefits of these, for others, they are like accumulated merits, which may eventually flourish.

The Lord has affection for disciples who follow and respect the five varnamans and acts as per His command. Such a disciple faces no difficult times in his life. It's easy to perform satsang, but to go against the will of the mind is difficult, we therefore need to become humble, avoid acting as per the mind’s will and incline our mind towards God by acting as per His will.

Acharya Swamishree further mentioned that, once a person inclines his mind towards God, it becomes easier to achieve the highest post attainable, which is becoming the Lord’s Anadimuktas.
