Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's Ashirwad - 7th Dec 2016

On the auspicious day of 7th December 2016, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj blessed the congregation with his divine ashirvad.

During the ashirvad, Acharya Swamishree explained, the three guns (rajo-gun, tamo-gun and sattva-gun), just like a clocks’ hands rotate throughout the day, and the thoughts disperse throughout the day in the same way. One has to change as they grow; hence one’s thoughts also change. A person is said to have pride if he is rigid on his thoughts and refuses to change. For a person to get to the unconscious state of mind, the Lord says one has to divert all their thoughts to the one and only, Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and act as per the Lords commands. For an individual to purify their thoughts, they have to have their mind diverted and affixed to the Lord. Acharya Swamishree explained that, one has to detach their indriyas and the mind from worldly matters (maayik), destroy them in the Brahm-aagni and dedicate them to the Lord only, this is known as Sattvik-yagna.

Acharya Swamishree ended his divine ashirvad with a Prathna; "Oh Lord, may you grant us the strength, courage and the wisdom to continue diverting and affixing our minds and thoughts towards the Lord."
