Swamibapa Education Centre in Nairobi held a Satsang Shibir on 1 st June 2016. The aim of the Shibir was to demonstrate how the early morning routines are to be performed and to impart religious knowledge.
A grand festival is coming up in September 2016 for the 25 th Anniversary of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir. Temples all over the globe under the umbrella of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan are carrying out various activities (bhakti) to please Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa for the upcoming festival.
Swamibapa Education Centre in Nairobi held a Satsang Shibir on 1 st June 2016. The aim of the Shibir was to demonstrate how the early morning routines are to be performed and to impart religious knowledge. The Shibir commenced with Kirtan prayer “Preme naman chhe He Vrushnandan”. Each participant came with personal Pooja set and performed the entire Pooja niyams as explained and demonstrated on a large screen.
A few animated video clips of Lord Swaminarayan from His childhood days were shown to the audience. Explanations and lessons to be learnt from these videos were highlighted to the audience.
There was also a lot of fun for the participants in form of games. For the very young ones, there was face painting and jumping castles. Flat race, lemon race, wheelbarrow race, three legged race, treasure hunt and many other activities kept the participants busy until it was time for lunch Prasad. Teamwork and co-ordination were lessons learnt from the games. Winners were presented with medals. All those present at the Shibir were served with Lunch Mahaprasad.
