Diwali is the last day of Hindu calendar. It is celebrated with great joy by Hindus all over the world.
In Nairobi, large number of devotees gathered in the temple to celebrate Diwali. Variety of sweets were prepared by devotees and displayed at the lotus feet of Lord Swaminarayan in form of Ankoot. Devotees also performed chopda poojan.
On New Year’s day Jeevanpran Swamibapa showered His divine blessings upon all those who came for darshan. Devotees happily embraced each other. All devotees received Divine Ankoot Prasad.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
