Shree Sadguru Din & World Peace Prayer – 27th November 2008
Sadguru Din is celebrated each month with great esteem. The presence of HDH Acharya Swamishree made this day even more memorable.
Jeevanpran Swamibapa says that Sadguru Din should be used as a barometer for one's own self-assessment of how much progress one has made during the previous month, in the devotion unto the Supreme Lord Swaminarayan
Extra devotional practices such as kirtan bhakti, recital of holy scriptures, meditation and dhoon were observed in remembrance of Sadguru Shree Ishwarcharandasji Swamibapa. HDH Acharya Swamishree showered His divine blessings to the congregation.
As part of the grande finale devotees performed ‘raas’ to please Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.
World Peace prayer
A special peace prayer was held for the departed souls and those who sustained injuries during the deadly terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
Everyone conveyed their condolences by lighting a peace candle and offering a word of prayer to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
