Magsar Vad - Shree Sadguru Din 2014

Magsar Vad Amas was celebrated on Sunday, 21st December 2014. It was a day full of activities from very early morning to late night. Devotees had come as early as 4.00am to prepare prasad for the day. On the same day a blood donation camp was also held in Swamibapa Hall. Lunch mahaprasad was also taken at the temple, compliments of the yajman of Amavaasya programme.

After Sandhya Aarti niyams, everyone sat in meditation as Muktajeevan Swamibapa explained the importance and the happiness achieved through meditation. On this auspicious day, chief political advisor and director of political affairs in the office of the President, Hon Joshua Kutuny had come to the temple to attain the blessings of Acharya Swamishree. H H Swamibapa Pipe Band welcomed him at the temple gate and led him into the temple hall. He was adorned with a paagh, flower garland and shawl. Acharya Swamishree presented him with a DVD set of Sarvopari Shree Swaminarayan Bhagvan Serial.

Acharya Swamishree showered His divine blessings upon the congregation and emphasized on the continuous spiritual education attained through religious discourses. Just as the body requires food to function, the soul also requires its food in the form of religious discourses. After the blessings, devotees arranged themselves in a circle and performed raas. Acharya Swamishree sat on a majestic rotating throne and blessed all those present in the temple. Everyone dispersed with sweet memories of the day and soothing cool Prasad of ice-cream.
