Nairobi Hindola Festival 2012
The hindola festival commenced on 5th July 2012. From this day, for the duration of a month, the Divine Murti of the Lord is seated upon a divine Hindola. During this festive month devotees please the Lord by decorating the hindola with variety of items and swing the Lord on the hindola.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
