Uganda Vicharan 2014

His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj who is currently touring the East African countries, visited Uganda from 6th to 11th December 2014. Hundreds of devotees had travelled to Uganda, some by road others by air. A special bus was hired from Nairobi for devotes travelling by road. Enthusiastically waiting devotees in Uganda welcomed Him with great joy. While in Uganda, Acharya Swamishree held various religious assemblies for the spiritual and material benefit of the community. People from all religious sectors, Hindus, Muslims, Christians joined in His religious assemblies and attained blessings and spiritual strength.

Wherever He travels, Acharya Swamishree moves around with a message of universal peace and compassion for Lord's creation. Itanda Falls is one of The Lord's creation. Acharya Swamishree with sants and devotees visited this falls where He performed panchamrut snaan to Harikrishna Maharaj at the base of the falls. The falls is located along River Nile, about 27 kilometres from Jinja town. Known to kayakers and rafters, including Prince William of Great Britain, this stretch of the Nile is easily one of the most hidden jewels of Uganda. It is a spectacular set of rapids, waterfalls and the hillsides. To the locals it is considered a sacred site- a "Blessed Place". It is pretty wild and really small as far as falls go. Good scenic view. Milky white water flowing with a thunderous sound. Simply Mother Nature at its best!

Acharya Swamishree blessed homes, offices, factories, printing press and quarries belonging to devotees residing and carrying on businesses in Uganda. While at the factories, printing press and quarry, Acharya Swamishree blessed and performed poojan to new machinery installed at the premises. Devotees solely seeked for nothing but the blessings and spiritual strength from His Divine Holiness.

Apart from the devotees, hundreds of needy children and local communities benefitted from is Holiness's visit to Uganda. Throughout His tour, Acharya Swamishree distributed consecrated food packets to the needy. Blessed were also security and traffic officials on roads and airports in both Kenya and Uganda. Indeed, all those who come in His association attain blessings in one or another form and tread on the path of salvation. After accomplishing His mission of imparting spiritual strength to all and material aid to the needy, Acharya Swamishree returned to Nairobi on 11th December 2014.
