Sadguru Din Posh Vad

Posh Vad Amavaasya was celebrated on 29th January 2014, the penultimate day of HDH Acharya Swamishree's departure from Nairobi. Everyone had mixed feeling of joy and sorrow. Joy, because everyone would get an opportunity to garland and embrace their beloved guruji, HDH Acharya Swamishree. On the sorrow side, HDH Acharya Swamishree and sant mandal were physically going to separate from the devotees, however, spiritually they are always together.

After the Sandhya Aarti niyams, everyone was deeply engrossed in meditation, a practice for getting higher consciousness or enlightenment. During the meditation, Jeevanpran Swamibapa explained the supremacy of Lord Swaminarayan and assisted the devotees to keep their focus.

HDH Acharya Swamishree blessed the congregation and said that he is spiritually always together with all His devotees. The highlight of today's gathering was the unveiling of a pair of the divine lotus feet "charanarvind" of HDH Acharya Swamishree. The ceremony received loud applause and cheers from the congregation. Everyone was presented with the lotus feet as a token of remembrance of HDH Acharya Swamishree's 25thVicharan to East Africa.

The devotees and sand mandal performed samuh raas as HDH Acharya Swamishree presided on a beautifully decorated throne. His presence brought extra zeal as devotees tirelessly danced around Him for over an hour.

During His 75 days vicharan in East Africa, HDH Acharya Swamishree:-

- Guided people from dark bondages of ignorance to the effulgence of liberating wisdom,
- Imparted spiritual knowledge,
- Through His pragmatic teachings, was a great source of guidance for innumerable people from all walks of life leading to the clarity of mind,
- Facilitated harmonious living and showed the way to rise above mundane lifestyle.
