Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's Ashirwad - 22nd Dec 2016
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa has taught us how to perform true devotion (Bhakti) to the Lord. If a disciple does not adopt the right way of devotion, he is said to have not done Satsang. Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan has explained to us, as per the Vachanamrut, that the religious decree (Dharma) is of two kinds;
1. Bhagwat religion - the religious decree associated with God, despite being Nivruti (the religious decree of abstaining from activities) or Pravruti (the religious decree of carrying out activities).
2. Varnashram religion - the religious decree of one’s caste (Varna) and stage of life (ashram).
The religious decree associated with God, (Bhagwat religion) and devotion are not two separate entities, they are indeed one, they both have equal importance, and one attains the divine abode of the Lord through any of the two; Bhagwat religion and devotion.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa says, whilst performing any tasks/duties, one should always keep the Lord’s Murti in mind. One who desires to achieve happiness, peace and joy must explore, associate, connect and reside within the Lord’s Murti. To become guileless one should always be good in the eyes of the Lord. It is clear that one will attain Aatyantik kalyan if we live our lives according to the Lord’s proposition.
Finally, Acharya Swamishree mentioned that; to attain aatyantik kalyan, one must continuously remain under the shelter of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi.
