Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's Ashirwad - 15th Dec 2016

Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, during His Divine Ashirwad revealed that our master is Lord Swaminarayan. The Lord is constantly putting an endless effort just to make sure that his disciples are always making progress in the various sectors i.e. Systems Sector, Economic Sector, Industrial Sector and Spiritual Realm. Our Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa also mentioned that Lord Shree Swaminarayan manifested on earth from his Divine abode, Akshardham, to free all the souls from kaal (inauspicious time), karma (deeds) and maya (illusions/ignorance). Not only that but the Lord disregarded the past bad deeds, freed souls from their misery and made them happy.

For one to attain the divine bliss of the Lord’s Murti, the Lord has given us Niyaams, whereby commanding all souls/disciples to abide by the ethical rules and obey the five vartamans which have also been written in the Shikshapatri by the Lord (not to drink any intoxicating drug, not to eat meat, not to keep close relations with ladies except the nearest relatives, not to steal, not to take food and drinks from improper sources). He also clarified that intoxicating drugs also include drinking tea, smoking, eating onion and garlic. He further advised that all should eat clean food. Those who have not understood the powers and strengths of the Lord have not been able to follow the ethical rules and vartamans recommended by the Lord.

Acharya Swamishree concluded by suggesting that we all have to be truthful disciples of Lord Shree Swaminarayan in order to attain atyaantik kalyan and a prathna; "Oh Lord, may you grant us the strength, courage and the wisdom to continue diverting and affixing our minds and thoughts towards the Lord."
