Preparations, Arrival of H.D.H Acharya Swamishree and Evening Sabha.
Devotees of all age groups were excited to welcome H.D.H Acharya Swamishree and so they didn't bother about the timings and worked day and night. Talented devotees expressed their talent by preparing a masterpiece of a stage, colourful rangolis, decorative garlands, finger licking prasad and stunning decorations within the temple. Their sole objective was to serve and please The Lord
On 16th November 2013, H.D.H Acharya Swamishree blessed the Kenyan land by arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport-Nairobi to bless the devotees residing in Kenya and the neighboring countries. Acharya Swamishree along with the Sant mandal was warmly welcomed by members of the committee. Param Pujya Acharya Swamishree was escorted to the temple by the Kenyan Traffic Police to meet the anxiously waiting devotees. On arrival at Swamibapa Road, H.H. Swamibapa Pipe Band gave their salutations to Acharya Swamishree. Acharya Swamishree was seated on a magnificent chariot and young devotees pulled the chariot into the temple compound.
Devotees had beautifully decorated a walkway for H.D.H Acharya Swamishree to walk on towards the cradle upon which Jeevanpran Abji Bapashree was seated. Acharya Swamishree adorned a garland to Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan and performed aarti.
The welcome ceremony was held in the evening. After the Sandhya Aarti routines, young devotees performed a welcome dance on “Swaminarayanbapa kitne ho pyare…. Teri mand mand muskaan.” H.D.H Acharya Swamishree showered his divine blessings to the large congregation and said “the soul is enlightened by serving The Lord with true devotion. One should detach from the material world and seek path of salvation; this is attained by having pious thoughts, one who has total faith in Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa achieves pious thoughts. One should perform devotion to become a staunch devotee (Uttam Bhakt) whose sole aim is to please The Lord, but not for any personal recognition or benefit."
After the ashirwad, devotees offered Acharya Swamishree flower garlands and bouquets who gave them prasad of penda in return. A packet of consecrated food (prasad) was distributed to the congregation.
