On 23rd August 2023 a prathna and havan ceremony was held in the courtyard at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury in the presence of Gnan Mahodadhi Acharya Swamiji Maharaj and his Sant mandal in honour of the landing of Chandrayaan-3.

India’s Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is the first to ever land near the lunar south pole, a completely unexplored part of the Moon and a great moment of pride for all Indians worldwide.

In His divine Ashirwad yesterday, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj said

We are of Indian heritage - and seeing the progress of our motherland, we should feel incredibly proud. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft will shortly land on the moon. Through this endeavour, India is truly demonstrating its global leadership. We pray to the Lord that this mission is successful - fulfilling the hopes of 1.4 billion Indians!

With Bhagwan’s Ashirwad, at 1.30pm GMT today, Chandrayaan-3 completed its mission.
