Gnan Mahodadhi Acharya Swamiji Maharaj’s third vicharan to the UK began on Saturday 3rd June 2023. Acquiescing to the loving prayers of His disciples residing here, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj’s arrival to the UK marks the start of His vicharan to the UK and North America.
Sunday morning saw Swagat Yatra to warmly welcome Bapa, which started with a parade into Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Complex, led by Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band with Acharya Swamiji Maharaj presiding on a golden chariot that was lovingly drawn by Sants and disciples. Hundreds had gathered on this beautifully sunny and picturesque morning to enjoy this divine darshan.
Once at the entrance of Mandir, the Swagat Yatra was taken over by a troupe of young dancers that paved the way for Bapa to enter, and led Him towards the sinhasan. This morning was also the first sabha of His vicharan, which included the commencement of the recital of the Rahasyarth Pradeepika Tika sah Vachanamrut scripture and Acharya Swamiji Maharaj’s divine Ashirwad.
The Mandir was full to the brim with disciples from around the UK, and even from further afield, who had gathered to welcome Bapa to the UK, and rejoice the start of His time here. This vicharan will include a number of scripture recitals, evenings of devotional singing and dancing, Patotsav celebrations at Kingsbury and Bolton Mandirs, and Bapa’s visitations to disciples’ homes and businesses. The spiritual thirst of the whole Swaminarayan Gadi UK community is sure to be quenched with Bapa’s full schedule of events, activities and engagements.
Another highlight during Acharya Swamiji Maharaj’s visit will be the launch of the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury Dasabdi Mahatsav – to set the clock ticking towards the Mandir’s tenth anniversary in August 2024.
The morning’s sabha concluded with everyone receiving Maha Prasad in the Complex courtyard.
