The community at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury were delighted that this year’s celebrations could be held in the presence of a full sabha for the first time in two years.
The event commenced at 16:30 with an hour-long dhoon to mark the imminent arrival of the Lord, and at 17:30 UK time (coinciding with 10:00pm India time – the precise time at which the Lord manifested), the Lord’s Pragatya Aarti was performed. The Lord was presided on an ornate golden swing, a lavish thaar was prepared and placed before Him, and disciples took the opportunity to offer Aarti to Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.
