Exactly 100 years will have soon passed since Jeevanpran Bapashree performed the Murti Pratishtha of Ghanshyam Maharaj in Kadi Mandir. In celebration of this auspicious ocassion, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj has inspired a three day festival, from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 February 2019.
Unfortunately, the celebrations are during school term time which will result in the students missing out on celebrating one of the most important historical events within the karan satsang.
In lieu of those students attending the Festival, the students of Swamibapa Gujarati School performed an assembly about the importance of Kadi, and the historical divine events that occurred in the presence of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree and Sadguru Shree Nirgundasji Swami. This assembly took place to a packed sabha on Sunday 3rd February 2019.
The fantastic performances included dramatical recreations of the historical events and conveyed details of these events in both Gujarati and English. The flawless and professional performances by all students concluded with a modern rendition of the devotional song “Banija balvir banija”.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
