Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury held its 24th Blood Donation session on Sunday 25th June, resulting in the total number of units collected during session held by the community to an amazing 2,362. Since sessions kicked off in October 2009, nearly 900 new people have become lifesavers.

During another successful session on Sunday, 115 units were collected – not far off of our record for a single session of 134 units in November 2012. We hope we can continue to inspire the community to give this simple but incredibly effective gift of life, through the selfless act of kindness of giving blood. If you would like to become a lifesaver, we urge you to book an appointment for the next session on Sunday 11th November – a session that will form a core part of our Diwali and Hindu New Year celebrations.

With your help, we can smash through the 2500 units collected milestone at our 25th session – this is your time to step up and be a true hero.

Registering is quick and easy; just visit blood.co.uk (search for NW9 and order by distance). We hope to see many of your at our next session and through this period of festivities.
