The final formal sabha for Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s UK Vicharan was the Antardhanotsav – a commemoration to Gurudev Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa marking 37 years since the day He departed this mortal world.
In addition to the traditional aspects of the occasion, such as the offering of Poojan to Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and Aartis, today saw a mass Mahapooja in the lead up for the upcoming Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir Rajat Mahotsav. This comes in a series Mahapooja sessions across the world, as disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi prepare for the seven-day festival taking place later this month. A particular prayer was made during the Mahapooja – that Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and Acharya Swamishree Maharaj keep with them in the impending celebrations, those disciples who will not be able to attend the festival.
327 individuals – men, women, boys and girls of all ages – took part in the Mahapooja, as Acharya Swamishree Maharaj bestowed His divine darshan.
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj showered His Ashirwad on the sabha, in which He explained:
• | From even a little devotion performed with faith and dedication at a divine site such as this, you will be rewarded with unsurpassed bliss within the Murti of God. |
• | By reciting the name of God – Swaminarayan – wuth faith, sincerity and dedication, all one’s sins are burnt away. |
• | Without the divine love of God and His Satpurushs, no one has the strength to adhere to the strict disciplines of the faith. |
• | The Lord’s love flows through our veins – such is His immense divine mercy. |
The congregation – and indeed Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s UK vicharan – concluded with everyone enjoying Prasad dinner.
