A special evening of devotional song and dance was held in the divine presence of Acharya Swamishree. Students of Shree Muktajeevan Arts and Cultural Academy (London) took the opportunity to please Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa by demonstrating the various disciplines supported by the Academy. Very young students performed devotional dances – many for the first time, while an amalgamation of Shree Mukta Orchestra, Shree Muktajeevan Dhol Academy and Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band performed a medley of devotion songs.

The evening’s events were also a showcase for a number of other activities hosted by Shree Swaminarayan Temple, London. Shree Muktjeevan Academy of Excellence awarded certificates of merit to students who had achieved academic excellence throughout the year; one particular student being recognised for receiving eleven GCSEs at A* grade. Activities and achievements of Shree Muktajeevan Sports Academy were also promoted. A particular highlight was a member of the Academy who had raised significant funds for the PHAB Kids charity by running in the Flora London Marathon. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree presented a cheque to the Vice President of the Charity, Ed Stewart – ‘Stu Pot’ previously of Crackerjack fame.
