His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Maharaj sent five talented and dedicated sants to provide guidance on the progressing building works of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury, and advice about the emerging plans for the Grand Opening festival.
Sadguru Shree Munibhushandasji Swami, Sant Shiromani Shree Divyacharandasji Swami, Sant Shiromani Shree Dharmavatsaldasji Swami, Sant Shiromani Shree Sarvagunalaydasji Swami and Sant Shiromani Shree Paramswaroopdasji Swami arrived late on Friday 17th January for an intensive ten-day visit.
A special ‘swagat-sabha’ was held on Saturday evening to officially welcome the sants to London. On Sunday they inaugurated a ten-metre mural of London’s ‘new’ spectacular skyline, complete with its latest landmark, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury. This silhouette is to be filled with tens of thousands of “Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa” mahamantra as part of the worldwide mantra-writing efforts in celebration of Kingsbury Mandir Grand Opening. It was fitting that this special piece of art of unveiled on the day that the disciples of London reached ten-million mantras in total.
The sants will depart London on Tuesday 28th January.
