To preside over the Dashabdi Mahotsav of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton and London, the 10th anniversary since He installed the divine Murtis of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in these temples, Acharya Swamishree arrived in the UK on Friday 6 August 2010.
At approximately midday, Acharya Swamishree and Sants arrived at the London Mandir, where He was ceremonially welcomed by Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band, Sants and disciples.
As He was carried into the Mandir on a palanquin by Sants, Shree Muktajeevan Dhol Academy performed a splendid percussion rendition.
Acharya Swamishree performed aarti to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa presiding in the Hindola before retiring to His room.
At 2.30, Acharya Swamishree and Sants departed for Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
