His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree arrived in London on Friday 10th June 2011, answering the prayers of all His disciples residing in the UK.

The morning started with pouring rain as hundreds of disciples eagerly awaited for Acharya Swamishree’s arrival at Shree Swaminarayan Temple London. As word arrived of His imminent arrival, the seemingly relentless rain ceased and the sun began to shine. The Band formed outside the Temple and played some melodies – indicating to everyone gathered that Acharya Swamishree was only minutes away. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation and excitement. Acharya Swamishree arrived at 215pm, by which time it was unexpectedly warm and sunny. The Band saluted Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree before leading Him into the Temple.

As soon as Acharya Swamishree’s palanquin entered the Temple, the rainclouds gathered again and it wasn’t long before it was pouring with heavy rain. Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band led Acharya Swamishree to the front of the Temple where He presided on a throne in front of the sinhasan. Shree Muktajeevan Dhol Academy then performed a medley of rhythmic Indian beats to please the Lord and welcome Acharya Swamishree and the mandal of sants to London.

Acharya Swamishree’s then performed aarti before retiring to His quarters.
