Dedicating the life that God has given you to the service of others is the truest celebration of Diwali – Acharya Swamishree Maharaj

In true community spirit, we had many first time donors as well as returning regulars such as Kishor Pathani and Govind Rabadia, both of whom were donating for the tenth time.
Donors also described their experience of giving blood in one word demonstrating how easy it is to do something amazing on an ordinary Sunday.
First time donor Steven Gayle explained, “I feel really fulfilled coming here today to this wonderful venue to give blood. A little over a year ago, when my second child was born, my wife’s life was saved by the generous donation of blood from a complete stranger. It feels only right to give back and potentially save or help the life of another. It was easier than I thought and I’ll be encouraging my friends to do the same.”
The next blood donation session will take place on the 6th March 2016. We would encourage donors to book an appointment now by visiting www.blood.co.uk
