Sunday 4th September 2011, Bhadarva sud 7, marked the 32th anniversary of Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa's departure from this Earth. The disciples gathered at Shree Swaminarayan Temple London were privileged to have the opportunity to commemorate this occasion in the presence of His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree.
The evening's events commenced with sandhya aarti and evening niyams, followed by chanting of the supreme Swaminarayan mantra (dhoon) and mediation. Jeevanpran Swamibapa, seated on a palanquin, was carried into the temple by sants. Acharya Swamishree, sants and eminent disciples then performed poojan to our beloved Gurudev Jeevanpran Swamibapa, before the entire congregation had the opportunity to adorn Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa with dhotiya and offer aarti.
Acharya Swamishree’s divine ashirwad followed ashirwad from Jeevanpran Swamibapa. The evening concluded with everyone receiving prasad from Acharya Swamishree while disciples sang kirtans as today was the penultimate day of Acharya Swamishree and sants vicharan in London before they departed for India.
