Over 150 Volunteers from Kingsbury Mandir support local hospice
110 ladies young and old from Shree Swaminarayan Mandir took part in the annual Midnight Walk organised by, and in support of, the St Luke's Hospice, raising important funds as well as awareness for this fantastic charity.

International Yoga Day at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj gave His Darshan throughout a mass yoga session at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury on International Yoga Day. IYD was launched by the United Nations recently under the lobby of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was a student of Shree Swaminarayan Arts College at our headquarters at Maninagar, Ahmedabad, India.

World Blood Donor Day donations at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury
Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury held one of its biggest and most successful blood donor sessions to date. The session saw 130 units collected, bringing the total units collected by the Mandir to 1,442. 13 of the donors gave blood for the first time. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj gave darshan to the donors during the session - this was the first such session in London held in His presence.

Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's Arrival in London - May 2015
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj fulfilled the prayers of His disciples residing in the UK and arrived in London on Monday 25th May. He arrived at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury at 8am and presided on a golden chariot that was drawn into the Complex by Sants. Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band, included the young Cadets, led the parade all the way into the Mandir.

Kingsbury Mandir mobilises to raise vital funds for Nepalese relief efforts
Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band will be playing in Central London to raise funds as part of our wider global efforts in delivering aid to the Earthquake-stricken region. Donations are also being taken at the Mandir for those wishing to donate - to support members of our parent organisation in India who are already in Nepal, delivering aid on the ground and saving lives.
